Car stolen by fake craigslist ads at Northeast Portland
Craigslist scam is harmful for many people and they are continuously deceived by fake ads. Purchasers are unable to differentiate between fake and real ads. Portland police reported that a silver 2011 Chevrolet Aveo was stolen. A man who wants to buy an iphone met another person at parking lot of an Albertson. This iphone was advertised by a suspect on Craigslist Portland. Forty five year old victim agreed to meet the suspect. In order to see the iphone when the victim unlocks the car, victim enters into the vehicle. He demanded money by pointing gun on purchaser. After snatching money at gunpoint the robber drove away. The victim remained helpless. Later on the police interfere and started investigation. The victim informed the police about the whole scenario. The suspect was in his teens or twenties. He also provided all necessary info to the police. He told the police about get up, outfits, height and weight etc. He also provided other sufficient info to investigating officer. The car is 2011 Chevrolet Aveo four-door in silver color. If anyone knows about the vehicle he can call at 9-1-1. The problem is still unsolved and authorities are trying their best to get the positive results.
